As a commercial photographer, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of being on location. Capturing an artist in their element, surrounded by the tools and materials they use to create their stunning work, can be a truly inspiring experience. It’s a privilege to be invited into Kate Clarke’s creative space, and to be trusted with capturing her unique voice and perspective, on this occasion for publication Pressing Matters. Of course, sometimes the studio can be just as exciting – with its bright lights and state-of-the-art equipment, it’s the perfect place to bring out the best in any subject. But for me, there’s nothing quite like the energy and excitement of being on location, and I’m always eager to dive in and start capturing the magic.
